Climate Change Forces Difficult Decisions Along the Colorado River

This writing sample is a blog post I created for the National Parks Conservation Association about the water crisis in the Southwest. It covers the history of the Colorado River Compact and operations of the Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River, and its impacts on the National Parks and the ecological health of the Southwest and our recommendations for future actions. This post demonstrates my ability to quickly gather and synthesize information, communicate climate science on a politically contentious topic, and deploy the information to educate the public in a pragmatic manner.
